What a dream, for real!

This morning, June 21, 2011 just after 4:00 a.m., I woke from a dream with these words flowing out of my head "The Bible says 'good fattens to those who push through the doors.'" Then, just before I opened my eyes, I remember thinking "Did the Bible really say that?" I don't think this dream was by accident. For me, it was the answer coming deep within my consciousness saying " Stop the procrastination, remove the years of fear and self doubt. Push through the challenges you say confront you. And your heart's desire will manifest." I said 'okay'. And I rose from my bed and moved into action. When it comes to our dreams, and the desires of our hearts, too many of us are asking the question "When God When?" The when is now. It's up to you and me. Stop making excuses, let's build up our faith, and jump on the band wagon headed in the direction toward where we want to go; for good fattens await those who push through the door."

Flash Cash!

Have you ever had a flash of inspiration? Something connected to your passion, ( that thing you love doing so much) and for a brief moment you imagine yourself doing it and thinking "yea, that would work," only to have your flicker flash dashed by what you perceive to be a dose of reality...all grounded in fear, of course. Well, here are a few people who experienced that same burst of enthusiasm, only unlike you or me, broke through any fear, frustration and self doubt, and turned that flash into cash!In reviewing one of my favorite TV shows "How I Made my Millions" hosted by David Faber, I was fascinated by the two following stories.

Brian Taylor - Brian Taylor is a college student who had a passion for snacking on popcorn. He indulged himself with this treat on a nightly basis. Growing tired of the same old... same old, he decided to experiment with his own flavors--mixing seasonings from his kitchen cabinet. Soon his friends were requesting his 'special flavored popcorn.' FLASH: "Maybe I've got something here." And so began the birthing process of Kernal Seasons--which today grosses more that $6,000.000.00 dollars in sales annually. Follow up with his story at http://www.kernalseasons.com/.

Brian Scudamore- The fact that Brian Scudamore did not complete high school did not deter him from thinking bigger. One day, he says, he was in the drive through lane at McDonald's when he noticed in front of him an old beat up truck hauling junk. It came to him in a FLASH. "I can do that. I can haul junk." He shares that he purchased a truck for $700, business cards and fliers for $300, and began knocking on doors. And so was the humble beginnings of 1-800-GOT JUNK, a business phenomenon that not only has grossed millions for him--but made millionaires of several franchisees. Read more of who Brian Scudamore is and how he did it at http://www.1800gotjunk.com/.

David Arrick -I learned about David Arrick, founder of Butch Bakery from the internet. His story was so intriguing that I decided to follow up. Seems Arrick was a laid off wall street attorney when he was intrigued by a string of customers (women, no doubt) waiting outside of a New York bakery to purchase those cutie pie cup cakes. His instinct immediately told him there was a market for this sort of thing and then he wondered 'where are the cup cakes for men? Flash! CUP CAKES FROM A MALE POINT OF VIEW. Out of this flash of inspiration Butch Bakery, a New York based online cupcakery featuring such manly tributes as "The Driller, Home Run, Jack Hammer and Tail Gate," came into the baking. And all with a variety of unique flavors, including rum and coke, white chocolate ganache and crumbled bacon. Although created for the male image, Arrick says that his customers are predominately women. How could one go wrong purchasing cup cakes for the men folk in their lives? As Arrick puts it "It's simply cupcakes." Arrick's success is phenomenal and he is reaping an abundant harvest. He tells this writer "There is nothing like taking a chance, risking it all, and simply going for it." Read more about David Arrick and how he got started at http://www.butchbakery.com/.

So the next time you have a deeply rooted flash of inspiration, don't send it back to the abyss of your mind. Like Taylor, Scudamore and Arrick, trust the feeling and take appropriate action. It could be your divinely inspired flash cash.

Wisdom Words

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends, and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest anyway.

What you spend years building up, someone could destroy overnight; Build Anyway.

If you find serenity and happyiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, It is between you and God--It was never between you and them anyway.

80 year old rising star!

If you are not familiar with Janey Cutler, I suggest that you google her on line today! Ms. Cutler is Britain's 80 year old singing sensation who recently wowed both the crowd and the judges with her version of "No Regrets" on the highly rated talent contest "Britain's Got Talent." They really do. And they are not all young, fearless and vivacious; but many are older, and filled with spirit and vigor. First it was 47 year old Susan Boyle who annihilated the stereotypical image of a rising star; and now it's 80 year old Janey Cutler, mother of 7, grandmother of 13 and great grand mother of 4 who's bringing home the truism that divine gifts are ageless.

And ageless, too, is her effervescent personality, her sense of humor and her dynamic wisdom. After her stunning performance, one judge asked the question"How long have you waited to do this?" She paused, reflectively, answering "I'm just thankful to be here tonight." The perfect answer! It does not matter how long she waited, the glory of it is that she's doing it now. It's the same with you and me--and the gifts we possess inside of us. If years have passed and you have not yet allowed your innate gift to fully express itself, begin that thought process now, if this is your desire. Then begin to take appropriate action. Continue to view this site for insight. Begin to do this now. After all, life is a continuous journey toward the eternal. And fulfilling your soul's desire will give your heart the rhythm it needs so you, too, can sing a song of no regrets. Thank you, Janey Cutler, for inspiring us all.

The Glory of God

The glory of God is great. He is real and can be found. Silently and surely as you walk on the path of life, you must come to the realization that God is the only object...the only goal that will satisfy you; for in God lies the answer to every desire of your heart. Paramahansa Yogananda
